YAST - Software management - Slow interface

Well, I had to do it. Install 11.1. At the same time I erased Vista. So
just running openSUSE now.

My issue is not zypper or download speed. It’s the GUI for Yast.

Response time in Software Management, when filter by repo, click from
one repo to another there is several seconds delay and with Packman
about 30 secs, before the repo contents display.

This is a big change from OS 11.0 which was lightning fast.

You are right! The software management tool in 11.0 war really great and
fast. Now I sometimes thinks it’s chrashed >:(. Let’s hope for a bug fix
;).

the appropriate bug report you will see that there is already a test
update available.

Yeah, I see that Update, just had a email from Bugs about it. I’ll give
it a go and see.

I can confirm that the test updates do seem to solve the issue. I will
report this back to the bugs team.
