Yast seems not to recognise a downoad in home/myname directory.
I am trying to establish a connection between my PC and my PDA. I have downloaded synce-kde in the home/myname directory (a „synce-kde-0.9.1“ subdirectory is clearly there). I try the installation with Yast but the search process (with the contains“ option) gives no result. I asked myself if the reason could be that Yast does not look into the /home directory and I tried a new download into another, according to my handbooks more appropriate directory („usr“), but it did not work („not authorised“) or something like that.
Could anyone help me?
I work with Suse 10.3 and KDE
When using local repositories, you have to add them in YaSTs repository-list.
