i have a server running opensuse 12.2
for remote administration i am running a persistent vnc session on the server with a user account.
however when i start yast within that session the window opens but shows only flat gray. same if i start dolphin in superuser mode.
the strange thing is when i activate standard, non persistent vnc remote administration and log in with the same user, i can start yast and use it just fine.
any ideas?

yep…someone else recemtæu report similar symptoms while running
YaST via either NX Free or FreeNX…so, i guess there is something
wrong somewhere…

but i have no idea what the problem is! maybe if you two compare
software, systems, setups, VMs, whatever a eureka moment will occur!
if you (two) don’t get resolution soon, i guess you need to take to
the mail list or IRC…or perhaps bugzilla–i really do not know
what is best…(but, it is well beyond my ability to troubleshoot or
help!)
