Yast Partition bug /fstab entries doubled

I was reformatting some usb sticks within yast partitioner, forgot to unlink the usb stick and my the system wouldn’t want to start because of the missing drive.

When I checked etc/fstab I deleted the usb drive entry but what I did not expect to find every mount entry doubled. Somehow I don’t think that is supposed to be.

You could report a bug on bugzilla.opensuse.org ( same creds ), but I doubt that it will be fixed, since YaST is barely maintained anymore. As announced. Aside from that it is up to the machine admin to check such changes.
FWIW: I saw someone on our Matrix with the duplication phenomenon as a result of the YaST Partiitioner usage for some USB stick. Fun fact: YaST added /home as the mountpoint for the USB key.
I suggest you install and use gparted for such operations. Or plain fdisk from the cli.
