Yast package manager takes too long to start

Hi,

Most of the time I use Yast software manager to install an application or update something, and every time it takes toooo long to fire up, 5~6 mins or more.
i think it tries to search for all of the new and updated packages.

Is there any way to lessen its loading time?

How many repos do you have active???

zypper lr -d

ISP/ / Router with goofed up IP/ power failure, Reset modem, wait reset router/ bandwidth issue, someone tripped on ethernet cable, Your device is utilizing xfinity wifi services and your not connected to HOME! Surely that has been ruled out prior to assuming?
