Hello DaaX,

the “my_essid” is a substitue for the real name.

Please note that the file has been working correctly
for some 2 years until the installation of the gcc-compiler
messed up everything.

How did you install the gcc compiler?? Via Yast?

Hello gogalthorp,

I tried to install gcc45fortran with libraries. The installation of the libraries crashed, and I tried to remove the scrap.

I think I have few options but installing everything from scratch (what is the easiest way?); an option would be
to get the network up and running, but is there anybody who can explain why simple wpa_config commands fail so
I can get networking up and running?
