Starting Yast (any module) on gnome with wayland will log me out to the login screen.
After I type the password in the prompt that get’s displayed I get logged out.

Same issue here it just dies. Gnome 3.20.
This is mostly caused by a bad mix of repos and you have mixed versions of some programs.

Note that 7 is a Leap repo There is a potential for mixed packages 13,14,15 are SLES repos this may present a problem. It is never a good idea to mix OS versions
Indeed but it has priority of 99, the system ones have 98, I only use this one to install sublime since I did not found a suitable repo for thumbleweed
