Yast cannot connect to host - any host...

Hi,

i have a big Problem.
I (still) use Suse 10.2, mainly because my Yast seems unable to connect to any host.
If I want to add repositores, or do anything really, by which Yast has to connect to the web, I allways get the same error massage:
Unable to reach host.

I do not think it has anything to do with my internet, because Firefox and all the other programs, which need to reach the internet are able to.

Any Ideas?

System: SuSe10.2
Yast Version. 2.14
Internet connection via DSL6000

Are you able to download a dvd if so you can upgrade using one.
You will need to do a fresh install only keeping your /home

These messages would also be displayed when you have the wrong hosts in your repos. Did you check them? You can always use the same URLs in a browser to see if you get something.

do you mean whether I spelled the URLs correctly?
Yes, I always checked them on Firefox, and they worked just fine there.
