Hi all! I have tried several times to recover my OpenSuSE bootloader ( doing it from another distro on another partition) but it stays at 33% for ever, doesn’t to go further although the little wheel/icon keeps on turning. Any clue?
Which version? 13.1?
Exactly what are you trying to do?
And when does it stall? 33% tells us nothing much. At start up or when saving?

Try any one of the Live ISO images from the downloads page to check for
hardware compatibility.

GNOME 3.10.2
openSUSE 13.1 (Bottle) (x86_64) 64-bit
Kernel Linux 3.11.6-4-desktop
As others alreadu pointed out, you realy do not explain much to us.
Always tell which version of openSUSE you use. And as we are not clairvoyant, please tell which steps you took do do what, what you filled in where, etc.
This sounds like the bootloader installation tries to access a non-existing floppy disk drive and hangs therefore.
If you don’t have a floppy drive, disable it in your BIOS settings.
