YaST and snapper icons problems in Tumbleweed

I am using openSUSE Leap 15.0 in French and decided to give Tumbleweed a try also in French. This version is Tumbleweed 20200804,
KDE Plasma 5.19.4, Qt 5.15.0.
Everything seems to work fine except for a small problem:
on the desktop the icons for snapper and YaST do not work. When I try to run them a message says that the snapper.desktop and yasr.desktop files do not exist. Indeed these files are empty.
How can I go about correcting this problem.

I was misled by the fact that during the initial installation of Tumbleweed both icons were present on the desktop and they were disabled during an update. I was able to verify this from an old snapshot. Finally everything is in order.
