Xvid/DivX don't want to play.

Hi,

I can’t play any Xvid/DivX videos in either Banshee or Totem. Everything else works. (They do play in Kaffeine however)

I got the gnome codecs from the Restricted Formats page, but no avail.

Any ideas?

May I humbly suggest NEXT time you use a more specific title such as: “Xvid/DivX don’t play in Banshee/Totem”

It will likely get you the right attention faster, and also not waste the time of forum users who can get Xvid/DivX to work in players OTHER than banshee/totem, and NOT force them to read your post based on an incomplete title.

I can’t change the title without messing this up for NNTP users.
