XRDP - "Login Failed" message when first login is root

Hi,

I have found this link “Login Failed” message when logging in through RDP](http://www.novell.com/support/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=7003389&sliceId=1&docTypeID=DT_TID_1_1)

I am suffering from exactly these symptoms. Can anyone suggest what the likely cause is? How would that bug/solution relate to my environment: openSUSE 11.3/xrdp 0.4.1-85.1?

And lastly, how can I find out if the update implied under “Additional Information” has happened?

You should NEEVER login as root. SDB:Login as root - openSUSE

What you want to know is in which xrdp level this is solved and when/if this then is available to openSUSE.

Anybody a suggestion where to look?

(Ceterum censeo one should never log in as root, which will as a bonus bypass this problem).
