Xrdp configuration on leap 15.5

I’m relatively new to Linux and am trying to get xrdp working so I can connect from a Windows machine to my openSUSE machine. Right now, when I attempt to connect from Windows using RDP, I see the following messages:

Reply from access control: Success
sesman connect OK
login successful for display 200
VNC connecting to 127.0.0.1 6100
VNC error - problem connecting
some problem

I’m hoping someone can point me to the right log or configuration files to diagnose this issue.

Update: I opened port 6100 on the linux firewall and RDP now connects without error. However I’m seeing a small terminal window in the upper left corner of the RDP window. I was expecting to see the GUI presented on the openSUSE host screen.
