I am having a unique problem. I have an Xplore Ix104R tablet pc. 866mhz with 512megs of ram. The cdrom is installed on a docking station, it is seen as a usb cdrom.
So, I boot the cdrom and the initial menu comes up. I tried different variations, but the end result was a blank screen, then a reboot after a little while. Read other peoples problems, then tried the text install.
Apparantly once the kernel boots, it loses the usb cdrom, making it hard to install. It probed for usb, then cdrom, then usb. It could not find it and stated an error and a reboot will happen in 120 second.
Any ideas?
