Hi, conky require the Double Buffer Extension (DBE) to refresh
correctly the screen, in older versions I can add the Load “dbe” in the
Module section, but how can I do it with no xorg.conf file?

One possibility is with Xorg -configure as root in runlevel 3 you can create
a xorg.conf.new which should reflect the settings which the X system chooses
also when you have no xorg.conf.
If you copy that to /etc/X11/xorg.conf you can tweak it (if all goes wrong
and nothing works boot to runlevel 3 and simply delete the xorg.conf then
your original state is restored).
And there is no way to load modules on X.org without using xorg.conf file?

I never really looked at the new xorg.conf.d folder which replaces more or
less the xorg.conf. But I see that
man xorg.conf
gives obviously some information about it. Maybe it helps to look at it and
find out how to use that instead of xorg.conf.
Just an idea, I do not yet find the time to look at it.
T_T, I have to wait until I have more time to play with it, thanks anyway
