hi
yesterday i updated xorg reository and then its packages but today at login screen it gets mess up and then shows some graphic pattern and then locks up 
if at log in screen i press ctrl+alt+F1 i can login in textmood but not in gui
what can i do to fix this??

Login on the command line as root, then
init 3
sax2
and reconfigure the X server.

if you using NVidia driver, you can try uninstall it and install it again.
i tried this and even with sax2 -r ,but when it tries to create (?) a xserver or something like that it goes to that wierd graphical screens and then locks up and just responds to alt-ctrl-del
i resoled this by reverting my xorg repository from dvd
and updating to xorg 7.4 didn’t help either.
but thanks anyway.
i thing the new xorg repositories messed up somehow ??
no its intel i845 onboard chipset.
