I want to lock my Xorg server at 1.7 so FGLRX does’t die
on the 15th When 42.2 comes, there are Kernel patches upto
4.8 so not worried about the kernel. My question is
Do I lock all x11 packages or the pattern file and the xf86-* files.
Suse names Xorg differently then other Distros.

Hi
What is your GPU, does it have GCN support? I see the amdgpu-pro has
been released for RHEL…maybe a SUSE rpm will follow…
I think you will have issues, just locking may not be enough, there is
mesa and llvm etc.
