XFS on USB-drive/HAL-UDEV configuration

I just bought a new external HD to store my data on. I want to use XFS since I have a lot of big (rendering) files and do not want people just using my drive.

My problem is that the drive is detected by my KDE4 removable device applet, but that it is mounted read-only automatically.
What do I have to do to make the drive automatically append ‘uid=1000’ to the mount string, I can not find it anywhere. It should probably be somewhere in a udev rule. But I can not find which one.
