XFCE slow window resize/move after 42.2 -> 42.3 upgrade

I upgraded last night from 42.2 to 42.3; aside from some gstreamer plugins which originally came from packman, I had no issues. The system is working for all my normal tasks.

However, moving or resizing windows is EXTREMELY slow. The window (or window edge) lags noticeably behind the cursor - enough so that I find I’ve often moved or resized too far :-(. When I move a window, it also has a partial half-tone block in it that doesn’t seem to match up with any other desktop parts. it I’ve been through the XFCE settings and the process list with no obvious culprits.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Dan

What’s the video card/chip involved?

It’s the on-board video on a ShuttleSA76G2 - chipset is ATI Radeon 3000. System is 8Gb; video shares the system memory, but I can’t remember how it’s allocated.

As I mentioned, it was working FINE in 42.2 :slight_smile:

Thanks!

Dan
