Xfce - Pulseaudio panel plugin

How do I put pulseaudio on the panel? I’ve tried ‘Add New Items’ but there isn’t any option to add it. I’ve also tried the settings editor/xfce-4 panel/plugin-6 command set to ‘pavucontrol’. Yast doesn’t seem to have ‘xfce4-panel-plugin-pulseaudio’.

pavulcontrol does not run in a panel it is standalone

on KDE I use veromix. but don’t know if it would work for you

I’ve found the rpm but cannot install it.

Problem: nothing provides libxfce4panel-2.0.so.4()(64bit) needed by xfce4-panel-plugin-pulseaudio-0.2.3-9.1.x86_64
Solution 1: do not install xfce4-panel-plugin-pulseaudio-0.2.3-9.1.x86_64
Solution 2: break xfce4-panel-plugin-pulseaudio-0.2.3-9.1.x86_64 by ignoring some of its dependencies

Check that you have the Packman repo active.

I have this one set to ‘enabled’ and ‘autorefresh’.

Sorry, my mistake. Ignore the previous advice. It’s available from the X11:xfce repo
