XFCE manually resizing windows from bottom-left corner just hurts

When I try to resize windows using OpenSuse (Leap & Tumbleweed) XFCE, I have to hover the mouse pointer over an 1x1 px area to grab the point that presents me the “diagonal resize cursor” functionality. From what I experienced using XFCE on other Linux distributions, it was never that cumbersome to resize a window.

Can anyone else confirm this behaviour? If so - what’s the right hook to change it?

Right click the window title bar and choose resize.
You can do Alt-mouse right click and move the mouse to the direction you want to resize
