xfce desktop use

Hello,

I like xfce but a small problem.

I use 8 desktops, specially one for thunderbird and one for firefox.
But when I clic a link in a mail this moves the firefox windows to the thunderbird desktop (not only the precise windows I try to open, but all the tabs)

Is there a way to prevent this?

thanks

Yes, there is.

I asked the same thing, now I don’t remember where it was… It was an obvious thing in
preferences, perhaps in window placement… Yes, there it is, second tab (focus), “when a
window raises itself… do nothing”.

yep, I find it in windows manager tweeks, focalization, you have the choice of making the widow go to the workspace (default), go focus to the window workspace (I like better) or do nothing

Yes, I use “do nothing”, sometimes I click on several links and then go and look.
