Xfce 4.10 weird panel alignment.

On 12.1 everything inside the panel was “normal” - menu launcher on the left, icons for running programs and shutdown button on the right. After updating to 12.2 and Xfce 4.10 everything is suddenly aligned to the left. I’ve tried to create a new panel but it’s populated the same way - from the left.

Screenshots of Xfce in Opensuse features section show “normal” alignment. Any ideas what went wrong? Any ideas how to fix it?

It is because of the menu button
You have to move the icons manually and place it where you want it to be.
If it is still acting weird, add a separator and expand it to push the icons in the proper place.
To make the separator look clean w/out the vertical line in the end, change it to transparent in the separator properties.

Not sure about the menu button but adding a separator before notification area and launchers and setting it to “expand” and “transparent” pushed them to the right and solved my alignment problem.

Thanks.

Good it worked.
The menu button I am referring is the pane-plugin where every time you open an app the name and icon appear in the panel.

Ah, in my list of panel items it’s called “window buttons”.

Ah, my bad you’re right, my mistake.
