Xerox Account Code Issues when printing via SAMBA

I am currently using OpenSuse 11.1 on an IBM T60 lenovo laptop on a large corporate network. We have a Xerox WorkCentre 7655 machine, which is a network printer, that I would like to print to via SAMBA.

It is all configured (with presumably the correct printer pps files from Xerox) and connects to the SMB path no problem. Authentication is validated. And if I try to print out a test page the Xerox spits out a test page. But it gives me an error stating “The Job was deleted due to invalid accounting IDs”.

We do in fact have Xerox Standard Accounting enabled in our corporate environment so that we can charge the correct departments based on who is printing, copying, etc. This is to be expected, and yes I have right clicked my printer > properties > printer options > and enabled Accounting.

Shouldn’t it ask me to enter my Account Code when I try to print? Is there some conf file I have to edit to type in the account code that I want to use? Has anyone else experienced difficulties printing via SAMBA to a Xerox machine that has Xerox Standard Accounting enabled on it?
