Does anyone using stub domains with Xen project visualization?
If yes would be possible to share a link with more information how to do that with OpenSuSE Leap 42.2?
I was not able to find a way with standard Xen packets.
Thanks.
For a post like this,
Always include
- The documentation or guide you followed in your attempt
- Whether you ran “zypper up” at least once sometime after you installed virtualization
- Whether you used YAST to install Xen or if you followed some other procedure
In general,
The openSUSE virtualization documentation was probably written by a person or persons more familiar with Xen than other virtualization so you might skim through it
https://doc.opensuse.org/
The SUSE documentation is very good and almost all of it can be applied to deployments on openSUSE
https://www.suse.com/documentation/sles11/singlehtml/book_xen/book_xen.html
Most of official Xen documentation should work on openSUSE Xen. The following is the Xen project’s page on stub domains
https://wiki.xen.org/wiki/Device_Model_Stub_Domains
And, of course as always it’s helpful to post the exact steps you tried in your attempt and the result verbatim.

tsu2,
Thank yo for your replay.
I do apologize for the inconvenience and I will rephrase my question to -> Is there OpenSuSE 42.2 stub domain binary included as ready to use .rpm package or I have to build it by myself? I was not able to find such .rpm in shipped Xen related packages. Thanks.
I don’t have a Xen system currently available to me.
According to the Xen Wiki link I gave you, <maybe> you’ll find it on your system at
/usr/lib/xen/boot/ioemu-stubdom.gz.
Otherwise,
I’d recommend you submit a “feature request” at https://bugzilla.opensuse.org
