xen partition mount or clone

Hi,
i built a xen-vm with yast in suse10.3.
the drive of the vm is a logical-volume-partition.

Now i wanted to increase the partition-size, but the lvm of the dom-u
ignores all settings. (The vm was stopped)

Easy would be to copy the vm-installation into a bigger lv, but i can’t
mount the volume into the dom-u.
It says wrong fs-type.

How can i mount the partition of a yast-xen-vm into the dom-u?
