Xen on OS 11.0

Hi all,

i’ve tried to use xen, doing some virtualisation of linux systems for testing. So i installed xen via zypper.
Everytime i boot the xen kernel, it doesnt works. Shortly after switching to runlevel 5 it crashes. The exactly point of the crash just circles rounf “Avahi daemon”, so maybe this is the last line it shows, or it just crashes one or two lines after this.

dont know what to do

Try setting your network cards to static IP addresses instead of using DHCP. That got me past that point to a text mode login prompt.

I’m here searching for Xen answers too, I gave up on 11.0 ever working for me and am having better luck with 11.1 RC5, at least it sets up the bridging for my multiple Ethernet cards.
