xen: migrate from opensuse to xenserver

Hi all,

I have installed an opensuse-11.2 guest-vm under my opensuse-11.2 host-os. Now I would like to export it and import it on a Dell Bladeserver which runs citrix xenserver 5.0.0. Is this possible? How would I do that?

I have the disk image of the vm and probably somewhere exists a XML description of the vm. What comes next?

Never done it but you could export it as an appliance. This will create a single appliance file which then should be runnable anywhere. As I understand it the Appliance format is attempting to become a standard thus it my be runnable in other VM environments. YMMV
