Xen kernel doesn't seem to want to launch KDM

Guys,

Just installed the Xen Hypervisor Tools and attempted to boot into the Xen kernel, and while it is true that the system booted, it didn’t launch KDM. In fact looking at the messages that run during bootup, it see the following messages:

Starting INET servers. (xinetd): failed
Failed services in runlevel 5 xinetd
Skipped services in runlevel 5: microcode.ctl nfs gpm ypbind rpasswd smartd splash uuidd xendomains

If I try to login as root and just run KDM manually nothing seems to happen so I am pretty stuck. Anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks,

Joe

After installing hypervisor and tools, it reboots to a terminal login saying:
Failed services in runlevel 5: labd
Skipped services in runlevel 5: nfs smbfs splash xendomains

I don’t know how to resolve this, so I +1 your post for a bump.

solution seems to be implemented in opensuse 11.2, although many other pieces are broken imo
