So i mainly use my 360 to connect my external drive to it and watch movies. I now have all my movies backed up on my 1TB ext drive and I have that shared on my network so i can access it with windows.
I found GeeXboX uShare UPnP A/V Media Server HomePage and this seems to be what I am looking for.
has anyone accomplished this and if so what do you use.
wow. I totally didnt say what i meant to say
I am trying to connect my xbox to opensuse for media sharing. Im looking for a linux alternative to Media Connect and I found the above mentioned.
Does anyone use this, or has anyone accomplished this using something else?
Also I run command line only so that is the appeal to ushare

Got the idea today (im sure many had it before me) that I would like my
xbox to connect to my linux system so i can stream media as this is
possible with windows.
My xbox does notice the computer but of course will not connect to it.
I did some searching around on google and found ushare and geekbox or
something simular… But the problem I am having is I use my SUSE as a
server so I have to find a command line solution.
Anyone know of a way to do this… Again, command line only please
thanks in advance
