(x64) updating the kernel

hello,

I would like to update the kernel.
what package(s) should I install?

regards,

olivier.

Kernel updates come via the update repo as and when they are available.

Just run online update from YaST.

Andreas Stieger

Actually, I need to install the linux-source 2.6.27.7-9, but I don’t know where I can find it.
or I could update my kernel to 2.6.27.7-19 but I don’t know how to make it too.

help me!

in YAST, the “online update” option don’t show any kernel-source.

Choose “software management” and search for kernel-source matching Your kernel. If You want to update your kernel type in search window kernel-default and rightclick the kernel-default and update.
