Hi I’m also new to Linux

I’ve tried installing the openmovie editor on my Toshiba laptop, but I keep getting this error:

configure: error: x264 Codec in libquicktime not found, reinstall libquicktime with x264 enabled*

What I’ve done is I’ve removed libquicktime and re-installed it again, but still the same error. I’ve also tried the following:
./configure --with-x246 - no luck
./configure --enable-with-x246 - no luck

Help? Please?

install libx264 and x264 along with it development packages and try again

Do you mabey have a link for me, as I am not sure which package to download. I am using openSUSE 11.0
