X button - Chromium - close tabs

Hi!

just downloaded Chromium, but the x button for closing a tab doesn’t work. How can i fix it?

Either downgrade or upgrade. There is/was one sub-release that has that bug.
What repository and what Chromium version are you using and what version of openSUSE are you running?

Hi!

I’m running OpenSuse 11.4 - 64bit, Chromium is 15.0.854.0-4.1

I’ll try to google for a way to upgrade/downgrade.

You need to change the repo for Chromium to Index of /repositories/network:/chromium/openSUSE_11.4 This repo contains the latest packages, which don’t have the described bug anymore.

Me too – it popped into the Tumbleweed repo. Seems to have overcome the super slow mode of the previous version.

Thanks Knurpht that did the trick for me as well. Seems to have been a rocky week for Chromium :slight_smile:
