Double verify that the login/pass are correct. It’s long since I did this,

“/etc/ppp/options”. In this file, I have “debug”. Last time I changed it

It is because of the 11.3 part that I guess you realy mean openSUSE. Because as far as I know there is no SLES/SLED 11.3 (or 11 SP3). Thus I guess you wanted to correct my openSUSE to your SuSE for another reason I do not understand. But be aware of the fact that misspelling could cause misunderstanding.

Weird.
What did you correct exactly? That message its not yours, is from the modem.
I’m curious to know, and people may come searching this post in the future
and would like to know if your solution applies to their problem.
