Hi, i am from india and i am using opensuse 12.3. i bought reliance 2G usb cdma modem. Then configure my modem as user-control network instead of default ifup configuration and i added my modem in Network Manager->Mobile broadband configuration. These things gone well but network was not connected. if i use wvdial then what are the things i should configure? help me get a network connection…

You could use ‘wvdialconf’ to locate the active ttyUSB* device for your modem. (Specify a file to write to, so that you don’t overwrite your existing working /etc/wvdial.conf file.)
sudo wvdialconf modem.txt
