I wanted to know that ubuntu offers wubi installation which is pretty simple for newbies. Do openSUSE also offer such installation method. Thanks
No
openSUSE has a installer that can be run from within windows BUT DON’T USE IT
Install openSUSE by booting the DVD or CD
When you first burn the media (slowly), boot it and make sure you do this: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/10573557/11.4_DVD_Install/1_mediacheck.jpg
Backup your personal files etc from Ubuntu
Because I advise you format all your partitions
Which leads me to another point. In Ubuntu it may only have swap and one other partition
openSUSE defaults to swap +2 (root) (/home)
Have a look at some of these

If you are not sure, ask. And post the result of this from your current Ubuntu install
sudo fdisk -l
