Wrong subpixel hinting in openSUSE 12.2

Hi,

same problem than this. Why there is no repository for 12.2 in Index of /subpixel/ ?
Check this out e.g. here: The Jenkins Bell Rings … | Javalobby

thanks, miso

I used to just use the factory version of that subpixel repo but now I just use the default openSUSE packages. You might also look into the infinality repo here: https://build.opensuse.org/project/show?project=home%3Anamtrac%3Asubpixel

The above mentioned seem to work for me but I have problems with other repos where sites such as forums.debian.net look very aliased and other sites look fine. So as I said I just decided to use default packages.

For me site does not look that bad. For comparison, my Xft settings (although it can depend on actual monitor and its DPI in use):

bor@opensuse:~> xrdb -query | grep Xft
Xft.dpi: 96
Xft.antialias: 1
Xft.hinting: 1
Xft.hintstyle: hintmedium
Xft.rgba: rgb
