Wrong keyboard driver

I am a new user of SUSE.

I installed the German version two weeks ago in a VM-Player. The host system is Vista.

For two weeks it worked fine. I installed g++, make and the VM-tools for SUSE.

Since the new start yesterday, the keyboard driver is a wrong one. It is not longer the German but the English driver.

I tried to change it with the YAST. But in YAST the selected language is German.

So my question is: How can i switch back to the German driver?

What’s the desktop? If KDE4, go Systemsettings - Country - Keyboard and change settings to appropriate ones.
