The ivtv version packaged for opensuse 11.0 is 1.0.3 which according to the ivtv page is:
version 1.0.3 for kernels >= 2.6.22 and <= 2.6.23
opensuse’s kernel is 2.6.25 !?
so should the driver be:
version 1.2.0 for kernel 2.6.25
My pvr150 does work with the 1.0.3 driver for the most part, I have had sound turning to static on channel change. I wonder if changeing driver version if the problem would go away.
I still wonder why 1.0.3 is being used.
