Hello,
I am using Leap 16.0 on my servers, and I am creating an access point (AP) network using NetworkManager 1.52.0.
Here is my NetworkManager configuration:
In the NetworkManager journal logs, I see the following entry:
NetworkManager[3563685]: <info> [1775051048.7146] Config: added 'key_mgmt' value 'WPA-PSK WPA-PSK-SHA256 SAE'
Most of my Wi-Fi clients can connect without any issues. However, I am experiencing problems with Zebra and Elo tablets, which are unable to connect. On their Wi-Fi interface, the network is detected as WPA3 (SAE Transition Mode) .
I contacted Elo support (part of the Zebra group), and they indicated that the issue is likely related to the Wi-Fi server configuration.
Could you help me understand what might be causing this behavior?
Is it possible to disable WPA3 transition mode and force WPA2-only when using NetworkManager? Alternatively, would switching to hostapd (or another solution) be required?
Thank you in advance for your help.
