Hi,
My wireless card is a dell wireless 1505 n mini. I found the broadcom linux drivers and compiled them without problems. Now, using network-manager I can connect to unsecured networks without problems, but when I try to connect to a WPA network, it doesn’t connect. There are no error messages, it just gets stuck.
When I followed the instructions here:
Tracking down wireless problems - openSUSE
The output was as follows (from running wpa_supplicant -Dwext -ieth1 -c/etc/wpasupplicant -dddt)

with the last part continuing in an indefinite loop (and a whole lot of stuff cut out in the middle).
For some reason, wpa_supplicant doesn’t seem able to associate with the broadcom driver i’m using.
available here:Broadcom.com - 802.11 Linux STA driver
I have also tried ndiswrapper, with the same problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
