World of Tanks crashes

openSUSE 12.3
KDE 4.10.5

I don’t know where to start.
I installed wine, Play on Linux and WoT-EU, and WoT-NA.

This is my 1st attempt to try a game on suse so I have no clue as to what to look for and where to look.
It blows up at the 1st launch with a longgggggg error message, some of which is posted here.
I took out a lot of stuff in the middle.
I noticed that they mention 32 bit and I am 64 bit. Is that a problem ?
Any idea how to go about finding out what’s wrong ?
and Thanks

Well that uses Wine so you might check out the wine site they may have setup advice for that game. Wine uses Windows libs so maybe you need to steal a DLL from Windows. But the Wine site should have advice and rating etc

WineHQ - Run Windows applications on Linux, BSD, Solaris and Mac OS X

You should check out also Linix based games. Thee are a fair choice of types and complexity Add the games repo

Thanks gogal, I was able to resolve it by doing some reading at the Wine site.

Its really a lot easier to just buy a windows PC to play games only…
…getting windows games to work on linux is a great pain.

Believe me… I spend over 30h trying to get LoL to work and that is a game that is even more popular.

Just buy a cheap laptop… save your time.
