This really is an awesome game. Downloaded the demo. I bought the game on steam already though. Don’t want to buy it again though just to play on linux. Any idea’s?

AAA Sick. I just can’t stop.

I couldn’t stop… till i finished it… rotfl!

And all this from a 2 person company, that holds it’s office(s) in various LA coffee shops…
My family: me (48), wife (45), sons (17 & 11) and daughter (6). 5 More people stunned. So many smiles and laughs from this cute little game. If all human produced goods and non-goods where like this…no more war, no more hatred…

Just got it on the Nintendo Wii as well… It’s brilliant on a big telly with the Wii remote. Spend 2 hours at it yesterday. Got cramp in my hand from holding the remote. It’s just a brilliant game. It never tires!

This Game really rocks. I’ve downloaded the DEMO and was laughing all the way through to the endrotfl!

It’s really worth buying the full version. It’s only $14.99 I think and that’s nothing for a quality game. You’re also supporting a talented development team (Former Electronic Art staff).

The developers used many open-source technologies such as Simple DirectMedia Layer, Open Dynamics Engine for physics simulation, and TinyXML for configuration files. Subversion and Mantis Bug Tracker were used for work coordination.[2]](World of Goo - Wikipedia) The proprietary PopCap Games Framework is used for font generation. The game was created by a very small team, with only three members at its peak.[21]](World of Goo - Wikipedia)
And they use Open-Source so how bad can it be. Plus, it’s one of the few games I know that’s out for Windows, Mac, Linux and Nintendo Wii!

It appears to be working fine when played under Wine.

If you have a Nintendo Wii I can suggest buying it in the Wii shopping channel. It’s €15 and supports multiplayer as well. Try not to kill eachother when someone puts a piece of goo where it isn’t suppose to go in the other persons plan

Amen…

You installed Steam through wine and playing it like that? Will test and see how it works.
