WLAN: wpa_supplicant shows error

Hi there,

I use a AVM Fritz! N USB stick with ndiswrapper, i was able to install ndiswrapper and wlan0 is there.

But, when I do rcnetwork start I get this error:

wlan0 starting wpa_supplicant
ioctl[SIOCSIWPMKSA]: Invalid argument
ioctl[SIOCSIWPMKSA]: Invalid argument

and wlan0 just does nothing, cannot connect to the router…

What is up there? Is wpa_supplicant broken? What could I do?

Thanx!

Mmm… there was a bug (opened for opensuse 10.3) very similar to this one:

Bug 408429 - wpa_supplicant gives error ioctl[SIOCSIWPMKSA]: Invalid
argument
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=408429

As per comment #6 on the above bug, I will try to test with another windows
driver :-?
