Wireless works on live cd, not after install Intel 3945 Toshiba Satellite A105

The post pretty much describes it all. Wireless worked fine on live cd, but for some reason not after install. I think maybe the driver is not loading, but I am a pretty much still a noob, so my opinion isn’t worth much. If it is the driver not loading, I don’t know what to do to fix it.

Here is my wireless output information. If there is more I should get to help you help me, just let me know.

From the live cd:

Thank you!

Found a fix. I am new to Suse, but kept googling and searching and finally found something that helped in another thread:

In the “Network Settings” page of Yast, choose the “Global Options” tab. There should be a choice there between “User Controlled with NetworkManager” and “Traditional Method with ifup”.

Running knetworkmanager won’t do anything useful until you switch those settings over in Yast.

Sorry about the waste of time post.
