I ma having an issue with my laptop. I have a Dell Latitude D620 and recently install suse 11.0. I did have 11.1 but I don’t like KDE4.
I attempted to connect to my wireless at home and noticed that the radio was off. All my information for my network is fine. I have tried the radio switch but that does nothing. It works no problem in my windows partition but not here. Any ideas on how to enabled it? I am fairly new with it but I learn fast

Check the BIOS and see if you can enable the wireless card upon boot, so you don’t have to activate it through the hardware switch once the machine is up. I have a similar problem with my card: If I activate the hardware when Linux is up, the KDE network manager doesn’t notice until I restart the network.

Its not a Hardware switch per say. It disables the radio, the card is still there and enabled but its radio is off.
I believe it starts up on boot from BIOS as it is. I will double check and see whats happens.
While I am in Windows and on boot I have a wireless light that is lit up. When when I enter Suse it turns off
