Wireless on 11.3 after install via acpi=off

The forum got me to install point for which I am pleased beyond what you can imagine.
Up until win 7 and this L675D I was wired and rather effortlessly I gave network name and PW and I was wireless. I had no expectation it would be that easy in SUSE so again I rely on the forum.
From that empty desktop before updates (not on line) how do I configure wireless or what must I do?
my chip is wlan0 Realtek WLAN
Thanks again
Butch

You need to open a terminal and post the result of

/sbin/lspci -nnk

Like this
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P3MPG_YT0ZY)

allen@allen-laptop:~$ /sbin/lspci -nnk
bash: /sbin/lspci: No such file or directory
allen@allen-laptop:~$

Are you absolutely sure
If you don’t get anything, something is sure messed up

Try again
Use your mouse to paste the code

I am still trying to give you information that might help you understand what is preventing me from giving you a
read out on /sbin/lspci -nnk which continues to say no such file.
I was looking at you answer to an XP wired question (not related)
but I am going to post the results of those codes in hopes that it might
ring a bell beyond “i really have something messed up”
allen@allen-laptop:~$ sudo /usr/sbin/install_bcm43xx_firmware
[sudo] password for allen:
sudo: /usr/sbin/install_bcm43xx_firmware: command not found
allen@allen-laptop:~$ sudo /sbin/modprobe -v b43

allen@allen-laptop:~$

There is something very wrong here. Try this:

**cat /etc/SuSE-release
**
report the result
