Wireless Network with OpenSuse and PC

Hi Everyone,
I’m starting a new thread coz I couldn’t find the answer in anywhere.

The problem is wireless internet slows down on my laptops considerably as soon as OpenSuse is logged in.

I have
A desktop dual boot with Win7 & OpenSuse11.1 (ethernet connection to the router)
TWO laptops with WinVista (wireless 802.11)
An iMac (ethernet connection to the router)
The router is Speedtouch with AOL

The issue is: when I boot up the desktop with Win7, there’s absolutely NO problem with my laptop wireless. The speed is normal. It only happens when OpenSuse is boot up.

I must stress that the signal strenght is excellent. I can see the router from the laptops.

I’d be much oblidged if you guys could point me to the right direction to sort it out.

Cheers
JJ

Do you mean the speed is slower when you use a site like
www.speedtest.net, or is browsing slow? If the latter, have you
disabled IPV6?

The browsing speed is unberably slow. I mean like 10Kbps. It takes 2 minutes to load google.com

Any ideas?
