Wireless mouse only recognized on (one) different usb port each time I restart

I don’t know if this is possible but I would like to set the usb port to remain static for my wireless mouse. It is a logitech wireless mouse m325 and it is always only recognized on one usb port at a time for some reason. And the port changes every time I restart my computer. Either if someone can help me make the mouse be recognized on all ports at the same time or just keep the configuration to stay on one port would be great. Thank you for any help I am very new to opensuse.

I am using opensuse 12.2 with kde.

Is this on a laptop or a desktop machine? Sometimes touchpads on laptops interfere with a mouse.
When you replug it in the same USB port, does it work?

Thanks for your reply! It is on a laptop. I disabled the synaptics touchpad so I am not sure if that is an issue. No I have to plug it into a different usb port each time I boot.

Does the phenomenon appear when the touchpad is enabled?
Does the mouse appear after a bit of waiting?
Take a look in the KDE Systemsettings - Input devices if you can find something odd.

That seems weird.

I like my m325 mouse. And I have not run into the same problem. I keep it plugged into the one port, and it works well every time.
