I’m running openSUSE 11.1 with KDE.
The card I’m using is a DWL G650+ AirPlusG+ Cardbus.
I’ve downloaded the firmware (tiacx111c16) and after i run /usr/sbin/iwconfig it gives a result like the one in the sticky.
However when i put sudo /usr/sbin/iwlist scan it shows:
1 first, please make sure the driver is loaded
2 then please provide the output:
ifconfig -a
BTW: what you mean " it gives a result like the one in the sticky"
Ahh yes so that was what i was forgetting (the driver):shame:
Thank you
Is there an alternative to getting the windows driver and using ndiswrapper?
And by an output like the sticky i meant like the one in the “My wireless doesn’t work - a primer on what I should do next” thread, ie one that showed that the card was working.
